I've struggled with my weight since my early 20's after my daughter was born. I've been to diet centers, tried all the new and latest drugs out there. I've done Atkins several times successfully. But I always seem to rebound. I haven't made that permanent life style change. I'm waiting for insurance approval for the RNY surgery. I've had all my pre op testing and passed with flying colors. I've joined the gym and have a personal trainer working with me once a week with strength training. I've been going 6 days a week and I've lost 23 pounds since Aug 24th. I already feel so much better, I can't even begin to imagine how good I'll feel once I get this weight off. I hope to make some friends here and be able to share my experience and learn from everyone else.
