Well where should I start? I was always what you would call a chunky girl. During my my teens is when things got a little out of control. I was wearing a size 18 in my senior year. When I went away to college, I dropped down to a size 14, I stayed that way until I was about 21 I shot up to a 22. When I was 24 I decided to try phen phen and dropped down to a size 12, stayed that size for about 6 months until I found out I was pregnant, After my first child I wasa 24 and stayed that way until I had my second child in 2003, I went to a 26/28 over 300lbs. Of course I was depressed, I lost energy didn't want to do to much with myself.

Around 2004 I started to have health issues. I woudn't see my mentrual cycle for months at a time. My gyn said it was my weight that was causing the issues, so I tried ww. I did that for close to a year. I didn't do much with that. In 2005 i turned 30 and developed high blood pressure, and my asthma worsened. My dr. tried to get me to get surgery back then, but I wouldn't do it.  figured I could do it on my own. In 2006 i found myself in the hospital with a bad case of edema, so I decided to go ahead with the surgery bit my insurance shut me down. In early 2007 I was told I was a border line diabetic, so  started the gym. I was loosing a little weight, but not enough to change my health issues. So in Oct. 07 I decided to try for the surgery again. This time I was approved.
I was weighing 367lbs. before the program. After the classes, and pre-surgert optifast diet I weighed 361.(I ained a few lbs. over the holiday) On 2/11/08 I went in for my surgery and I weighed in at 355.  A week after my surgery I was 344. I know I have a long journey ahead of me, but I am ready to take my life back.
