UPDATE I had all my PATS today at Cabell Huntington Hospital in WV and my surgery is still on for May 20. The staff was very nice and supplied me with every possible question I could have and Dr. Goldman explained in detail my surgery, the risks and how he hoped the surgery was a big help to me. My daughter Sarah liked him very much and was impressed with his taking time to ease some of our worries. They took us on a tour of my floor after surgery, showed us the beds(bariatric friendly) and I liked everything I was showned. Please keep me in your prayers as the next 10 days will be very trying to get through. [email protected]

Tomorrow I go for my last consult with Dr. Goldman and to have my PATS. My appointment is for 9am. I don't know what sort of tests he will do since I have already had every test imaginable. I'm looking forward to tomorrow, getting to find out what to expect on May 20. But I cn't help having a nervous stomach sometimes and wondering all the what if's but I would not change my mind for a Million bucks. Thanks to everyone's postings and e-mails, they make each day brighter. Good luck to all having surgeries tomorrow.Please keep me in your prayers.I'll update later tomorrow after my appt.
