and here I am! Feeling so much better than I did just three or four weeks ago for sure.
I update regularly on my blog, but just thought I'd drop in to write that I've officially lost 35 pounds!

I cannot belieeeeeve that I've made it to this point! Tomorrow is my day...I have the surgery and the adventure begins. My prayer is that I have the strength to make all the right choices, and live according to the rules o' the pouch. ;)

Well, this morning bright and early, Mike and I made way to Barix for my pre admission testing. Everything went fine and I'm cleared for surgery.
Only 20 days left.
Praying each day is a good one, and God paves the way for a good experience

It's occuring to me today how incredibly blessed i am to be able to do this. I know I'm scared, and in fact possibly terrified of the choice I'm making...but I know it's the right one, and not everyone who wants to lose weight has this option. I'm ready, and I'm informed. I'm prayed up, and excited.
I'm also really fortunate. I have a job that has insurance that will pay for this. I have the perfect time in my life to do this. I'm still young, still able to live a long healthy life. (I hope!)
AND, God has provided me some wonderful people to share this with through OH. Especially my new friend Heather. Heather, you are SUCH a comfort to me! ;)
My PAT date has been changed from Jan 3 to December 26th so Mike can come with me. Ack...it just occured to me that this is the day after Christmas. I hope i can stay away from leftovers after midnight!
Every day, I'm moving closer and closer....God, lead the way.

Well, as of a few weeks ago, I am officially set up for January 15th! I've been approved by the insurance folks, and now I'm headed directly towards pre-admission testing, and then after that, my surgery.
Right now I'm vascillating between terrified and terribly overjoyed!
