5 Days Post Op

Surgery went well and discharged after 2 days - less than 48 hours. I thought I knew what I was in for but the pain has exceeded my expectations. I am still having difficulty getting up and walking around. most of my walking is to the bathroom and back although I force myself to walk around the house as much as possible. My huge undertaking yesterday was a shower. Very refreshing after 4 days.

I have a lot of "is this normal" questions going on in my head and I'm very thankful for this website where I can search and find alot of info on personal experiences.

I am sleeping just a few hours at a time. not able to get a full night sleep but napping some during the day.

I am anxious for my first post op appt next wednesday so I can weigh in and see what I have lost as well as get some answers hopefully.

Thanks to all of you that said a prayer for me day of surgery. I appreciated every and thought that day.
