Just a quick update from my surgery:) I'm home.. safely on the other side after abit of complication. Seems I didn't want to wake up and ended up on the ventilator for a few extra hours, but by about 8 hours after surgery I was breathing on my own and all is well. Now, just to get over the soreness and start this newest journey to a slimmer me!! Thanks to all of you for your well wishes and prayers, Each and everyone of them was appreciated by me and my family.

If you are anything like me, I know how nervous you might be. I go for surgery three days before you on the 20th. Remember, there is alot of support on this site if you ever need to talk to anyone who has gone through the same emotions we are about to face. I will prayer for all of us so we will have no complications, and we all loose the weight we want. Good luck with your surgery, and God Bless

Marcia, I am so very sorry that they postponed you. How horrible to be on the table and told that. Good luck to you with the test. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes.. and a BIG HUG to Ken for being my angel.... but.. now the bad news.....I'm home.. and not very happy.. I didn't have my surgery.. seems they forgot to do a test, and the soonest I could get the test done now, is Monday.. so my surgery got postponed til 1/23.. and that's only if I passed the cardiac stress test. I was on the table, had had the blood thinner shots, the relax you shot and they'd called for me to go into surgery.. and then the anesthesiologist decided since that test hadn't been done, he wasn't putting me to sleep. :( I cried all the way home.. I don't see how they missed that test when I had all the others ran.. so.. I see no reason why I won't pass it for surgery, just the upset at the delay . This is the 3rd time I've been postponed.. all due to someone not doing their job properly or adequately.. I'm beginning to think I am doomed to be a 350 pound tub of lard :(
