So I suppose I should put my story . . Where do I start?
I have been overweight as long as I can remember. By the time I hit high school I weighed 200lbs. In high school I was diagnosed with Hidradenitis and I was told I had it because I was fat and had bad hygiene which used to be believed the causes of it but I later found out it wasn't what caused it, in fact very far from it. I proceeded to have two surgeries to try to "fix" it. I still had problems and after I had my son in 2003 it got even worse rampaging my body. Eventually it was so bad I went to the mayo clinic and that was the beginning of many experimental medicines which caused me to go up and down in weight.
All in the midst of this I went through a lot of up and down periods, but eventually met my wonderful husband. He has been by my side 100%, he def is my angel. I love him so much. Well we had decided I would get my gastric bypass a year ago so I had an iud put in when I began looking into the surgery well low and behold I gained around 100lbs in less then a year after it was put in.. .and just generally had problems but we were going to stick it through for surgery but then got denied by my insurance at the time we exhausted all the appeals and decided we would get married. So we got married 12/26/2008. We got the iud taken out and started trying for a baby . . what would be my second his first but our last. We were having no luck when one day out of the blue I get a call asking if I was going to have my surgery because everything was about to expire and I would have to do them again. So I said sure lets try and sure enough I was approved after about 3 days.
So I am scheduled to have RNY on Aug 27th the day before my 25th bday!
