I was scheduled for band removal surgery on July 6th, 2011. But because I injured my back the week before the surgery was moved to August 1, 2011.
I won't be revising to another WL surgery. I will work hard at getting better physically and mentally.

Re-starting everything again.

So I was having some issues with horrible left shoulder pain and had to get my band unfilled. I am now re-starting all over again. I gained 20 pounds back since I had the unfill 6 months ago. I feel like a total failure I am almost back to my original weight. I've been trying my hardest to stay positive and do this again. I need support and have signed up for some therapy sessions. Let's see what will happen next!

I am not giving up on myself again! Shoulder pain still here, MRI is clear. But just got a fill yesterday, now at 3cc's and restricted, for now.

The shoulder pain has been a nagging reminder that not everything goes perfect. I had to go see a neurologist because the pain is now radiating to the left side of my head.
My cholesterol is high and I seriously need to lose weight. I have the band and not losing any weight. I need a fill and can't get one until the neuro finds out what's causing the left shoulder pain.
I wish I was one of those not typical cases where I would have lost 100 pounds and looked awesome.

I wanna scream and cry because I am 2 months away from my band surgery anniversary and have not lost any significant weight. I had so much faith that this would work for me and that I would finally be thinner. I can't do this anymore!

Okay, I am trying to not feel like a failure with the band. I have no restriction but I also know that I have to work at not eating the way I used to. It is very hard because I CAN still eat the way I used to! I am exercising everyday and I can see my body changing.
Right now I am nervous about my port revision surgery on 3/12/08. I am really hoping and praying that it goes well and that I may finally lose more weight.

7 months out, have lost 18 pounds and I have no restriction!

I am so sad this 7 month anniversary. I am still at the same weight since 6 weeks after surgery. No loses, no gains. I don't gain because I exercise a lot, but I have no restriction and I am fighting myself constantly. I have a new doctor because the other one would not give me a fill because I had no restriction and gained a pound, and then he stopped taking my insurance. My new doctor sent me to the NUT and she gave the go ahead for me to get a fill ASAP. She asked if I have ever had restriction and I said no. She was surprised that at 3cc's in my 4cc band I have no restriction. I have an appointment for 2/26/08. Let's see what happens.
I feel so disillusioned with this situation. I see so many success stories and I want to be a great loser. I know, I know at least is 18 pounds gone.

Today December 1st is my 34th Birthday! I feel FANTASTIC!
Happy, Lighter and healthier. I am glad I got the band, my Ellie B. she is keeping me restricted and slowly but surely the pounds are coming off.
I hope to be at goal by my 35th birthday.
