Okay so I go the news I have been stressing, agonizing, and desperately waiting for this afternoon.  My surgery has been approved! I am so happy.  I had begone to doubt the process. Rationalizing that it would be okay if I was denied. Thinking of other options. Maybe I would self pay and finance my surgery.  I have been praying that God would let the best thing for me happen in regards to this surgery but noting that I wanted to have it done and hoping the He would agree.  I'm nervous but ready to go.  These next twelve days will take forever......

Ahhhhhhh.  I am driving myself crazy.  I have just started this whole WLS process and I am soooo ready to have surgery.  I have decided to go with the sleeve and now I am going through the torture of the insurance approval wait. (Aetna PPO) In the meantime I have spent most of my free time on the internet searching for anything and everything to do with WLS. Looking for reviews on the doctor I have chosen, looking for other options if insurance denies, looking at before and after photos, & of course dreaming of wearing a bikini one day :)  This website has helped so much.

I guess I will go to bed for now.  I am sure I will on tomorrow!
