Hello all
My name is LaSonya everyone calls me Sonya. I am 36 I attempted to start this journey back in 2002 but unfortunately the insurance i had at the time with my job didnt cover wls 
my first roadblock but i never gave up just had to go back and realign my ducks. Then in 2007 i finally got approved for disability and now im back on the roll cause i found out that my insurance (medicare) will cover this was a huge suprise for me. so here i am i went to see the surgeon for the first time on the 16th and was so ecstatic . Its hard to believe that this ball is really rolling now. It took soo long but im here FINALLY!!
So Im ready for this journey that i have dreamed of for sooooo long and i cant wait.
