So today I am officially 13 days out of surgery...
wow - this has been way harder than what I thought it would be, but I know it will be worthwhile in the long run!

I went to the surgeon's office today for a check-up and I have lost 24 pounds in the last 13 days! WOOHOO! I am so excited! I could not believe it...

I am still a little weak so he gave me a B12 shot and said that should start to help me get strength back and he wants me to have a shot once per month. 

he also recommended I stay off work another week and not go back until the 21st so I can get some strength back - 

I go back in 6 weeks so I will keep you posted!

So today I get a call from the surgeon's office and they moved the surgery up a day - now it is Friday, June 27th (tomorrow) instead of Saturday. 

Now since they have called I am a little nervous...is this normal??

OMG! I can't believe it is here

So I finally get a call from the surgeon's office  and the date for surgery has been set! WOOHOO! 

I am so excited - my surgery will be next Saturday, June 28th - I have to be there @ 6:00 AM and surgery is at 8:00 AM

I can't wait!
