Ki H. Oh

"I first met Dr. Oh as I was being put "under" for my EGD. Kinda funny - we said hi -then I had the EGD. I wasn't really worried -as we are out of state paitents - and we were actually sitting down with him later that day.
As you will probably read in other's logs, he is very short and to the point - but he is never rude and will always take the time to answer your questions if you have them. He even encouraged me to ask more questions during an appointment when he sensed that I was a bit frustrated and didn't understand some stuff. All in all, it was more important to us to have a skilled experienced surgeon perform this operation than a surgeon that would try to be our best friend.
One thing that I remember and appreciated very much was while I was in the hospital. I had my surgery the day before and my husband was scheduled for his EGD that morning. I couldn't be with him - so my father came in to help him afterwards. Right after the proceedure, Dr. Oh came down to my room to check on me and then just let me know that all was well with Charles and the EGD was fine.
Aftercare is emphasized - but I can't tell you exactly to what extent since we live in Alaska. We did receive a pretty indepth booklet about what to eat, vitamins, protein supplements and the like prior to surgery and have continued to refer to it.
Dr. Oh's office staff is a compentent and caring group. The women took time no matter how many calls I made to answer my questions. They went out of their way to get us the info we needed - and I would say that is not common - Top Notch Staff."

Isopure Dutch Chocolate Protein Powder

"We purchase this at GNC - w/their gold card and save 20%. This definitely adds to the value. THis is the smoothest tasting protein powder that we have found. It doesn't tend to leave an after taste as we've found with others."
