GOD HAD OTHER PLANS FOR ME

HELLO TO ALL, I CAN TRULY SAY THATMY GOD HAD OTHER PLANS FOR ME.Let me rewind to the month of November '07; my mother and I went to New Orleans, La to Touro Hospital for my surgery on the 18th. Everything went as plan with the pre-op technicalities. Once the surgery started, it ended up lasting 2hrs longer than it was suppose to. To put it mildly, quick and to the point.....I CRASHED ON THE TABLE AND THE MAN ABOVE HAD OTHER PLANS FOR ME.........
I ended up with an abcess on my diaphragm in which a long crowbar type instrument had to be inserted into my rib cage area (without being put to sleep, anesthesia, etc) and this tube would drain the deadly infection that had developed) I developed pneumonia and had to have between 500-750cc's of fluid drained from my lungs, numerous times. I also developed a fever I couldn't break for 9days, I also had child-like blood pressures daily. Dr. O'Connell told me that he ended up having to take more of the stomach out and I was fine with that but all-n-all everything went ""GREAT"". Just think less stomach the better, but I really was happy when I realized that I had a *FEEDING TUBE* in me along with the other tubes.
Never the less, I was discharged with the feeding tube and central line and had to have a home health aide for IV treatment etc. I can truly say that my complete stay (NOV. 18th-DEC. 13th) in the hospital was a true eye opener of how quickly things can happen in life. I am just so thankful to GOD for all that He has shown me in this short journey.
WHEN I WENT IN I WEIGHED 315lbs. AND I HAVE LOST 35lbs. I CAN ONLY THANK GOD FOR HIS LOVE FOR ME AND GRACE FOR HAVING OTHER PLANS FOR MY LIFE.

WELL HERE I GO AGAIN... I AM GOING UNDER THE KNIFE AGAIN TO HAVE A REVISION DONE.SURGERY DATE: FRIDAY, NOV. 16, 2007
