My name is Lisa! I'm 20 years old, and a mommy of one boy, Blake! I have struggled with my weight my whole life. I have always been the "big girl" in my group of friends and in the crowd. After having my son in July 2012, everything really changed for me. Not only did I have a new baby and a new life, I realized that I seriously needed to do something about my weight. My weight just seems to always keep climbing, no matter the effort I put forth. Until now, I never really considered having weight loss surgery. I did a lot of research recently, and found that it actually may be a great option for me. No, I do not currently have any major health issues (besides my weight, of course), but I feel I truly NEED to do this; not only for myself, but for my son. I'm really excited for the life-changing journey that is ahead of me!
