Setback

Well, I just had my first "refill" after having the band emptied about 10 weeks ago.  I developed pneumonia in January from regurgitating at night-I was too tight and just didn't realize it.  Pneumonia put me in the hospital, then while I was there I apparently had to have a rescue team come in and resusitate me after a bad reaction to Delaudin pain medication.  I didn't even know until they told me later in the hospital!  Dr. Shina took out the fluid and I did good at maintaining my weight during the 10 weeks, I actually lost 2 pounds.  I was filled 2 days ago and restriction seems pretty good.  My husband has now decided to go forward with his weight loss surgery; he has decided on the by-pass and his seminar is next tuesday.  I'm so glad he's going forward with this; I want him to be healthy and live long, and he is just so miserable right now it makes ME unhappy.  I am very excited for both us and can't wait!
