Went to my appt today.  We went over my blood test results.  Everything looks okay, except my sed rates... I have arthretis.  Big surprise!  They gave me an EKG and a breathing test while in the office.  Today I was 287... Dunno how I lost 3 lbs but whatever lol My BP was borderline high, 134/94.

I go tomorrow morning to hop on the treadmill for a stress test.  Then, he's going to put me on diet pills (?) and start my 6 months of documented dr. supervised weight loss plan!! 

This time next year, I'll may just be 75-100lbs lighter!!

I went to my appt with my PCP today.  I weighed in at 291.  My BP was high (146/94 or something like that).  He has me fasting after midnight and getting my blood work done for all sorts of tests :)  Then, I go back next week to get the results and to start my Dr. supervised diet!!  <3  <3 

Hello. My name is Melissa and I'm 30 years young (although my body doesnt feel it).  I have been over weight my entire life.  I have 4 young children to live for.  And with  yo-yo diets and contineous weight gain, I am sick and tire of it all!

I am 5'9", 290lbs and have a BMI of nearly 43.  I am finally breaking down to see my PCP.  I feel as thought Im coming apart.  I'm prehypertensive.  My knees and ankles giveway.  My bottom of my back/hips ache. I am tired all day, no matter how early I go to bed.  I wake up multiple times a night.  Headaches. Loosing my breath & my heart races when I go upstairs. Thirsty all the time. The list could go on and on.  I see my PCP next week to get a full workup, and hopefully he refers me to a bariatric physician.

I have Molina (medicaid) and until the other day, didn't know had a chance to have WLS. 

I hope this journey doesnt end with a big fat no!!
