So, when I bought my magnesium citrate I should have bought baby wipes....or a hose. Wow. After drinking this junk (grape flavored) ended up diluting it in sugar free grape koolaid and on ice and with a straw. I was really nauseas, and within 1 hour it started working. I'm pretty tired, not sure if that is related or not. I'm really really ready for Tuesday morning to get here. After my little crying fit the other night, I'm know I'm making the right decision for myself and my family. Scoot over losers bench, I'm coming to claim my seat!

Today I went for my pre-op registration at the hospital. Got my last blood work up and pre-op education. Didn't pass out ;) One week left until my VSG! Hard to believe. Unfortunately I'm battling the 'last supper' mentality and trying to repress the urge to binge on all the foods that I won't be able to have for a while.

Went to the surgeon today, all went fabulous. Lost 18 pounds, liver is still a little big, but if I stick with the diet, I'll shrink it. Pre-op is February 8, Surgery is February 21!!!!! So excited. Looked at the calander and realized that is also Fat Tuesday/ Mardi Gras!! How funny that Fat Tuesday will be my last day as a fat chick!! I'll be stocking up on sugar free clear liquids in preparation!

Got all of my pre op work done, then decided to not have surgery. Thought I could do it on my own....yeah right. Guess who gained 15-20 pounds in 3 months.....So I got back on track with my protein shakes and called the surgeons office. Thought I had changed my mind about what type of surgery, but after some intensive research, I decided to stick with the sleeve. I'm so excited!!! I went to the Dr on Dec 23 and given the goal to lose 10-20 by my next appointment in one month. Well, Christmas happened and I gained 10. I lost all of that and have officially lost 10 from my appointment weight. I'm now back to where I was when given my first surgery date. I go back on Jan 25 (yippee only 5 more days) and hoping all goes smoothly from there!

I had my first visit with the surgeon today. I am so relieved to have this process rolling! Now all I have to do are my labs, ekg, endoscopy, chest x-ray, psych evaluation, and nutritionist consultations and I will be on to a surgery date!
