My one year anniversary was 10/9/09. I am doing GREAT!!!! I am now down about 127lbs and enjoying every moment of my new life.

Where does the time go??? I am already almost at my 6 mo anniversary from gastric bypass surgery and feel so great!!!!! I have truely gotten my life back. I now weigh 215 lbs.....I would like to get to around 150 lbs. I know I will get there slowly but surely.

My RNY experience with Dr Dan at Akron City Hospital / Summa

I had RNY gastric bypass surgery on October 9th, 2008. My wonderful surgeon was Dr. Adrian Dan at Summa Health Systems - Akron City Hospital in Akron, Oh....I had a wonderful experience and cannot thank the bariatric team at Summa enough!!! Excellent bariatric surgical team and an excellent hospital!!! I am 3 months post op and have already lost about 70 lbs!!!! I feel great and know now this was the best decision I could have ever made for myself!!!!! I feel like I have added years to my life. If you are thinking about weight loss surgery please do it now rather than later....It will change your life and only for the better!!!!!!
