When I was a child, I was very thin, probably too thin. People would tell my mother to feed me more. Then came puberty and for most ladies, they begin menstruation and learn that horrmones make you crazy. However, for me, with puberty I began to gain weight. I will never forget the worst memory I have of that time frame. I was a junior in high school and one of the nuns called me into her office. She asked me if I had something I wanted to talk to her about. I responded "no sister, you called me in your office do you want to ask me something." With that she said "I noticed you have been gaining some weight, are you pregnant?" Needless to say, I was devastated and have never been the same.
I have participated in every weight loss gimic known to mankind....Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Nutrisystem, Cabbage Soup diet, Atkins diet, Weight loss drugs, etc......and the result was always the same. I would lose weight and when I returned to eating again, I would gain it all back and then some.
Well now is the time for this to all change. Weight loss surgery is the tool I need. I will give it my total effort, like I always have in the past, but this time, I plan to be successful.
I look forward to this journey towards a new, healthy lifestyle!!!!!
