Joi, Being in a family that has many cancer survivors I can understand some of the emothions you may have now. However, no one can understand it as well as you can. I have read all of your postings and also been in a chat a time or two when you were there. You certainly don't stike me as the sort of person who ever gave up without a fight. Okay, now we have a challenge in front of us. Grab it by the horns and let's go. We are all there pulling for you!

Joi, I am so sorry about the cancer. Thank God they found it and are getting you in to take care of it right away. Take care of yourself. I wish you a surgery with no complications and a quick recovery.

Joi, Sorry to hear about the thyroid cancer. One of my cousins had the same diagnosis recently and had most of his thyroid removed. I took awhile to get the medication right, but he is doing well now. It is one of the most curable forms of cancer, in case you haven't heard. I wish you a quick recovery and hope that you are able to have you WLS soon.
