Even though my birthday falls in this month,it still has bad memories for me. My mama died 2 years ago the 21st and her birthday is 3 days after mine(aug3). The one highlight is my upcoming surgery.I have an appt with Dr. Ben-David on the 28th of Aug. If I can get my pych eval and labs by then, Then I will be ready to go!! woo hoo. I asked the dr during the seminar  about how long before I see enough improvement to stop taking all there meds for diabetes and HBP and he laughed. He said to start off I will be on only half as much right after surgery! I can't wait to feel better. I know the surgery is not a cure-all,but it sure will help me jumpstart my health! to every1 who has been there before thx for all the support. I have met the nicest people here and I love hearing from you! TTYL,Lynn
