Hello everyone! My name is Leddie, I'm 34, mom of FIVE wonderful children. I've struggled with my weight since I was a teen ager. Over the last ten years, I have gained over a hundred pounds and am now weighing in at 351 pounds.
I have wanted the lap band surgery for years but even with two great insurance companies between my husband and I could not get it covered, sigh... I just happen to have an amazing brother who is going to pay for my surgery that is scheduled for the 9th of Septmeber! Love you Quil!!
Obesity is a killer in my family. I lost my mom four years ago at the tender age of 49. She lost her mother at 49...see a pattern?! I have all these kiddo's that need me, my oldest is 13 and my youngest is 4 months old.
I belong to a mom message board and have made amazing friends and found endless support through them. I look forward to creating lasting friendships with those of you on this new journey with me!!
