I feel like I've been waiting forever to see this!

Boy oh boy, I couldn't be happier! Watch out 160, here I come! I love my LAPBAND!!!

Just feeling good today..and I like this photo!

So, today I weigh 217 pounds...I'm so close to being under 200! I absolutely will be under 200 by summertime...and I'm so excited! Life has been crazy, haven't been on here much. I had to get a partial unfill about 6 months ago, (previous fill too tight), and just kinda stayed at 240 for a while. I'd lost so much so quickly I was happy to take a little break. Yet another reason why I adore my band!
Since getting filled back up and back on track, I've been losing consistently. It feels good! I'm so grateful for the success I've had with the band. I can't imagine what my life would be like right now if I hadn't ever gotten it! 
It's been a little rough this year, going through a divorce, (good thing). I'm happier than I've been in over ten years. I have an amazing new man in my life, my children are thriving again after that rough patch, work is going well..I just have nothing to complain about. Well, maybe my saggy belly, five babies and fatness hasn't done much for that area. Hoping to save for a tummy tuck and arm lift, then all would be perfect! Just thought to update on here since I'm back on track and focused again! I'd like to be at my goal of 160 pounds by my 2 year bandaversary!! Wish me luck!

Yep, it's outta here! I went to the ER yesterday with excruciating stomach and back pain. They admitted me as they found a gallstone blocking my bile duct. They have treated me like gold here, I'm very thankful for that. I will have surgery to remove my gallbladder tomorrow at noon. I guess there is a corellation between weight loss and gallbladder issues.
I'd do it all again though, no matter what the good outweighs the bad! I love my lapband!

I'm so happy with my lapband! I know I still have a long way to go, but damn I'm feeling good! I feel like I have sticker shock, 107 pounds are gone...WOW! It's like a dream. I felt like before I was so far gone I never thought I'd be here, I planned on being fat forever. Now I'm going to be healthy and beautiful and happy...thank God for my lapband!

So, I'm down to 262 pounds...feeling pretty great about that! I've been getting compliments like crazy and I'm wearing size 16-18 pants and tops! I can't believe I'm almost out of the plus size stores, it's amazing! 
I go in for my next appointment tomorrow. I'm going to ask for the tiniest fill, hoping it will break this little plateau I've been on for a couple weeks.
Otherwise, life with the band is GREAT! I feel so fortunate. I don't PB, I've been stuck maybe once right after my first fill and thats it. I feel like the model lap bander! I couldn't be more pleased!!

this long since I updated??!! Well, to start I DID reach my goal of being under 300 pounds by Turkey day! Yay me! I'm now down to 283, and so close to the 70 pounds lost marker I can taste it!! I just know I will be down a hundred by my 6 month mark, how amazing is that??!! 
I'm very grateful that things have gone so smoothly for me since my revision. I have slipped up a bit during the holidays with all the goodies and carbs...but, the beauty of the band is that I can get right back on track! I'm going to start my work out routine again next week and I think my body may go into a little bit of shock! That's good though right? I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to excercise, lol! It's just so nice to see those numbers going down for once, it makes it worth it!
Truly, I'm just amazed at how this is going...I never thought I could actually be a thin person...I'm finally starting to believe it! A couple of pics..me, down about 30 pounds in this pic beleive it or not!

The scale is moving again! And I'm pooping like a normal person again! Thank goodness Dr. Kouli is letting me take my Docusate again, I know, TMI but it's reality, lol!
I have been at a plateau for a couple weeks now, gaining and losing the same 4-5 pounds. Now I'm at 310 and hoping to be under 300 by Thanksgiving!!
I go in on the 13th for my minor surgery to fix my flipped port and he will give me a fill at the same time.  I think it's great timing so I won't go crazy at Thanksgiving!! That's all for now...

I feel great physically, but I'm sad and disapointed!  First let me update a bit.  At about 20 days post surgery I developed a staff infection in my largest incision site,MRSA. They had to lance it-twice-and pack it for a week before they let it start t close up and heal. I took antibiotics and was so excted that it was time to go in for a fill.
Well, looks like the infection may have eaten away at my port sutures.  My lousy port has flipped! So, no fill, more surgery,(albeit minor). I'm actually pretty terrified to have to get cut into while I'm awake. I'd much rather be put out! Oh well, I have to wait about two weeks for this to take place. They want to make sure all the infection is gone and my incision is fully healed. I actually cried on my way home from the clinic yesterday...
On a brighter note, I'm down almost 35 pounds and feeling pretty good! I'm going to continue to follow the rules, excercise and TRY to have a positive outlook! I want to loose 17 more pounds by Thanksgiving!!

Well, I can't believe I'm doing this well!! All liquids are going down fine, getting in plenty of fluids. I'm ready to eat something, but honestly a little nervous about it. It's been so long since I've eaten anything!
Tomorrow I will be on my own at home with the three girls, then back to work Tuesday. I see my doc on Tuesday too, looking forward to that!
I feel pretty good through the day, but about 8pm I start getting achy and tired. Grocery shopping today about wiped me out, but I took a little power nap and woke up feeling better. I really just can't complain about anything! I think I'm gonna love my band!!
