Oh my gosh Amber, I can't even remember how to say it right! Mispronouncing it was bad enough, that it was a man's cologne was just the icing on the faux pax of my day. Sigh. ~~ HEY, you are using a walker!! So ... when you think about your last symptoms to appear, were they the first ones to go? Is that correct in your opinion? ~~

Hi All: I am durning while and living in sunny California, its not Alabama but it will do as long as I'm with Chris I'm happy. My new best friend and I are going to start walking with her son, that should been fun...LOL I need to post a new picture, so that all of you can see the changes in me. I'm alot more fun to be around and have lots of energy. I'm also working full-time so it hard to get on-line to update, so I'm sorry it has taken so long. Thanks to all that have supposted me in my journey to a "new me". Hugs and kisses to all of you. God bless you all.

Hi all. Just a quick update. I have submitted a new photo. It was taken last month. I am bouncing between 180-190 lbs, depending on time of the month that I weigh. I am down to size 12-14. 16 in Jeans. I don't like them tight. I am smaller then I have ever been, even in high school. I do not ever remember being this small. I still have problems of looking in the mirror and seeing that 400 lb depressed subhuman. I am getting better with that, although that is thanks to the support that I have gotten from family and friends. I could not imagine going though such a change without a support team. I am thinking of making big changes in my life very soon. I will keep you all informed of the changes, if I make them...LOL.. I wish you all the best oh luck. Your friend and co-support team member.

I am starting my tone up exercises, and the doctors offices has given me some help on finding a doctor in the Ca. area that I am moving to although it is going slow. I will most likely wait till we get to Ca. to make up my mind on a doctor. I have alot of water weight still and the doctors have me on a water pill. If I do not take them each day, I start to swell in my hand and feet. My clothes are falling off of me and shoes and rings too. It gotten to where I have to buy new clothes each month. I try to keep myself in clothes that fit right, but its hard, when your losing so fast. My old clothes go to family and co-worker that have had the same surgery. I try to give some to each person, but there is some of the girls that were smaller then me and do not need my sizes. My younger sister was going to have the surgery, but we change insurance in Feburary to United health Care, which they do not pay for the surgery; so she will not being having the surgery anytime soon. I still look at myself in the mirror and see the fat person that I was before, this is my biggest problem, self-esteem is shot to hell, if it was not for Chris, my fiancee; I do not know where my head would be. Our life together has started so fast, that even I can not believe it. He helps me see myself as a woman and not just a sub-human walking around taken up air. I am doing great on the weight lose, but I still have depression sometimes, and today is one of them...I hope that one day it will clear up and my head will clear up also. God bless all of you and keep losing... Your co-supporter...... Bamagirl.

Hi all: Its been a real good week. I am Feeling so much better, and things are looking so much brighter. To think this time last year I was SO depressed and ready to lie down and give up. I went to my doctor this week and he was very surprised with my weight lose. It was my 6 months appointment. He said I am doing everything right and that "to keep in mind that it will take 6 months more for the skin to tone up , 6 months more then the weight lose. " That helped because my skin is really starting to get fflabby.......YUCK...That is the only problem that I am having with the whole thing. My stomach is toning real well, but the arms and thighs are not going as fast. My BMI is 37.8 now. Can not believe to has changed that much in just 6 months. I am very proud of what "I" have done. I would not changed a thing. It has helped me so much and to know that I have more time on the earth with loved ones makes me a Happier person. I am all about family and friends so they mean alot to me, and since my surgery I have been about to do more with them. I have a new outlook on life and and a new saying.....Look to the sun, things can only get brighter............LOL......... I hope all of you do as well, and if anyone would like to talk to me, ask any questions , just please, e-mail me. Your friend and co-supporter.

Hi all: Its me again.! Sorry I have not updated in awhile, I have been very busy at work and in personel life. I have a new outlook on life and do not want to waste a single minute of it. First , the most important thing, I started this weight lose at 389lbs, To date I weigh 220lbs. I wear a size 18-20 and exercise is no problem, I have so much energy that my fiancee can not keep up with me most of the times.....lol.. Although , he does his best to tire me out.......Sometimes you just have to say uncle.. I have great support from my family, friends, and co-workers. Now Chris ,my fiancee is one of my biggest supporters. We met after the surgery, I showed him pictures and he said its hard to believe its the same person. I had sent in pictures and release to the website in august, and still they have not been posted, I do not understand why, but I will send more with and updated picture. I have no problems with my asthma, I still have some problem with my joints, my back does not bother me, atleast that much, only if I have been setting wrong for to long. Health wise ,I am in good shape.God bless all of you for the letters and comments you have sent to me..They really hope to go back and read when your in doubt. Your friend and co-loser. bamagirl.

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.~*~Hugs~*~
