Today is my one year anniversary since my surgery and I feel wonderful.  I have lost a total of 112 lbs.  I feel better than ever and I am so happy that I made the decision to have this surgery.  Its been an amazing journey!!

I am 9 months out and have lost 104 lbs.  I weighed 160 this morning which is my goal weight, however, now that I am here I'd like to lose another 10 lbs and I think I'll be done.  This has been an amazing journey and I am so blessed.  All of my labs are good and I feel great!!  Happy New Yeat to all!!!

Well...I'm down 94 lbs and have 10 to go to reach goal and 20 to go to be where I'd really like to be. I lose a lot slower these days but I'm still losing so I'll take it!! :)

I can't believe I've dropped 90 lbs. I am now 174 and thrilled. The weight loss has slowed down but I'm still losing so have no complaints. :)

I am down 85 lbs and I just cant believe it. I've lost 5 lbs in the last 8 days and I'm astonished. I feel great. :) I am so happy!!!

Well...yesterday was my 6 month anniversary since my gastric bypass. I can honestly say that it was the best move I've ever made. I've lost 80 lbs and I feel amazing!! I've been losing weight pretty steadily but just went into a stall about two weeks ago. I'm okay with that considering the amount of weight I've lost in the last 6 months. I'm in a size 14 which I haven't been in since I was a teenager and that just thrills me. The day that I bought size 14 jeans, I cried all the way home from the store. It was such a joyous feeling for me and I was so proud of myself. Hopefully I can get some updated pictures on here soon...even after all of the weightloss, I still hate the camera...lol. Hello everyone...well we made our move. My husband retired after 24 years in the Navy. We moved from VB, VA to a small town in KS to be closer to our families. We've been here for two months and are trying to get settled in. We bought a small house that we are remodeling so in the meantime, we are living with my sister. We hope to be in our new home by the holidays. I am not working so I am able to concentrate on myself and my new tummy. :) Remodeling a home and taking care of yourself is a full time job...lol. I like to refer to myself as a domestic diva these days. :} Hope everyone is well...have a great day!!

I finally fell under 200 lbs. This morning I weighed 199!! I am so thrilled. I can't even remember the last time I weighed less than 200. This is a dream come true!!

Tonight after dinner I had a peice of cake. I know I shouldn't have but I've been so good and I just wanted it and I did just fine. I also had half of a sandwich on a kaiser roll about 2 weeks ago and did fine there too. So I guess I am lucky and nothing makes me sick. I don't make a habit of eating bread or sugar but I'm still glad that it doesn't make me dump. Most of the time I don't even feel like I had surgery but I keep losing weight so the proof is there...lol. I just can't eat a whole bunch at one time. That's a cool perk sometimes but sometimes I get discouraged because I want to keep eating when something taste so good but my tummy just won't let me. Guess that's why I had WLS huh?! Too funny! :)
