The Beginning of Something Wonderful

Okay so I am young. I have my whole life to look forward to. My name is Maya and im 18 and having the Lap-Band procedure. I am currently 330.5 pounds and I will get down to 130 no matter what. I am driven now. I am on the liquid diet and yes its a pain in the butt, but it will help me out in the long run, well its already helped, I have lost 12 pounds. I am here for support from others and to support others. I love making friends and talking to people. I ramble. lol. My surgery is November 16th, 2009. I am excited and scared at the same time. My mother is helping me through the pre op diet because she is doing it with me, and she is not overweight she looks good haha. I am starting this amazing journey that will be hard and will test my will power and dedication, but it will let me live life how i wanr, i wont be traped in this image anymore. People will see the real me. I am so excited. I am prepared to have to work hard to acheive what i want. I think thats all i wanted to say so far.  well till next time ttyl -Maya
