It is official I am going in for surgery on 08/08/07. I will be trying to get in sooner but I need to check in every day to see if someone rescheduled. I am so thrilled. Yes, I have been walking on clouds when the date was actually given to me. I am so proud of all Patty did with Dr. Patel's office. I don't know who is the best the staff or the Doc. This really rocks.

I have been overweight most of my life. Even when I was not as big as I am at this time I was still considered huge for the time period. I look back at those pictures and realize I could have done something about my weight and been healthy and not be placed in a predictament where I know have to get surgery to feel well again. I really want to live for my boy. He is all of six and I want to see him grow up instead of him seeing me buried. Have sleep apnea, diabetes, arthritis along with the big D diabetes. The surgery has been finally approved after pushing for it since April. I need to just give the call in the a.m. to set it up. With God's help it will come to pass with an earlier date than expected. I thank God for my husband, son and my families encouragement.
