My surgery is January 6. I am a bit nervous for this because I havent talked to anyone about how the pain is after and what the recovery is like.  I can admit it out loud; Im a complete baby when it comes to surgery.  Its probably because I have had about 7 in my life due to other health issues I have.  I DO NOT do well with anesthesia AT ALL!!  I always wake up choking for air very hard and my body spasms all over really hard too.  Sometimes I get violently ill  and vomit non stop. so Im afraid something inside will tear.  Ive told my Dr. but he seems so cool and collected about my concerns but then again so has every other Dr when I warn them about my violent reactions.  If anybody who has had the gastric bypass route Y is reading this at all PLEASE fill me in on how everything went for you.
