It's unbelievable that it's been almost 3 years since my gastric bypass. I remember living on this site before the surgery, reading stories and viewing pictures. Never really believing that I would actually lose weight AND keep it off. April 2012 will be 3 years! I have had another child since my bypass, she is now 7 months old! All is well with my health and I have kept off 90 lbs! During my pregnancy, I gained 20 lbs. Once I stop nursing, I will work on getting that weight off. I feel really good about myself (something I rarely say) but it's really true. Good luck to all of you that are about to begin your weight loss journey, WLS has been the best thing I have done for myself and my family.
