4/17/08  Well, after years of weight battles, and months of researching WLS, I have made the choice to move forward.  My surgery is set for April 30, 2008.  I decided on my surgeon because he has just done Lap Band surgery on 2 of my cousins, and they both agreed that Dr. De La Cruz-Munoz was a great sergeon with lots of experience. My first experince with a weight loss surgeon was with Dr. Rosenthal up at Cleveland Clinic in Weston about a year ago, but it seemed more like an airport terminal then a doctors office, not much personal attention.  He seemed like a fine surgeon, but the whole intake and waiting system seemed like an airport.  The staff at Dr. De La Cruz-Munoz office are great.  Always available to answer questions and when you call and tell them who it is, they know who you are and are friendly.
