My 6 Month review

May 17, 2012

Well, it has been 6 months since my surgery.  I know this because OH notified me.  Honestly, I am not a person who "super tracks"  maybe that is part of my problem.  But, I have got so much going on I can only do so much.  I am trying to live with my sleeve and learn healthy ways all the while brining home the bacon, cleaning the pan, etc, etc, etc.
I am a bit nervous about it being the 6 month mark.  I still have around 40 pounds to go.  I am so happy with the changes.  My husband and son have been supportive.  My son had weight issues, but, beginning last year he started working out and eating healthy foods and has really changed his reality too.  I like talking with him about nutrition.  And, as an update to my original post, I told him the truth and that was that I was irresponsible with food.  A food addict. I believe part of my problem was fuled by bad food choices, even those that a lot of people think are healthy foods: like whole grains.  I am off grains of any kind during this reduction phase, and now that ai have learned about their inflamitory properties, I doubt they will be much of a go to once I reach goal.
Right now my struggle is losing slowly because I wonder if I will make it to my goal weight.  I also suffer every night from feet and leg spasms, and I have yet to find a solution even after taking magnesium and eating some biteds of bananas.
I'll right back again when I reach goal.  I am so thankful for OH and My Fitness Pal
