Time Flies

Wow, hard to believe it has been four months since I last posted. Let me start by saying I have lost a total of 70 pounds to date! I am below the 200 mark for the first time in about 10 years. It feels SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD, let me tell you! I am able to shop in the misses department (size 16 pants, thank you very much) instead of Lane Bryant. My goal for right now is to get down to about 160, which is 32 pounds away. But I am thinking Imight want to go down to maybe 140-150. I don't want to get too too skinny, I dont think that is very attractive. But who knows, I might change my mind again.I have been able to tolerate most foods, even found out at Xmas time I could eat a cookie or two without dumping.
I know, not exactly good news, but I did not overindulge. I have experienced the dreaded "foamies" a time or two, though.
Definately not a pleasant experience. But overall, no serious problems. I am living off of salads right now. I am loving Kay's Bariatrics! I eat their cereal every morning, it is very tasty. I am working out at the YWCA at least 3-4 times a week. I am hoping once my youngest son's basketball season is over with I can make it at least 5 times a week. My husband has been terrific. Very supportive, encouraging. Always telling me how good I look. But he always was that way, he found me attractive 70 pounds ago. I am truly blessed to have him in my life. I couldn't have come this far without him. And my sons, as well. About a month ago or so, my youngest son and I were out grocery shopping. We were putting the groceries in the back of the SUV when he tells me, "Mom, it looks like you have lost some weight."
From the mouths of babes.Well I will end this post now. I am here at work, and I guess I should be working, but instead here I am typing away at my computer to you all.
Hopefully it will not be as long until I post again.
