First Consultation Appt

Things went smoothly, the team certainly seems to have every detail ironed out. I have a slew of labs, ekg, and chest xray to do, then they will schedule an endoscopy to make sure I am a good lap band canidate..i guess b/c of my reflux history. I got dates for appts with nutrition, nurse, and psych eval all within this month, and he said the egd should be about a month from when I get my tests done. Woohoo, on the road. (Now I just have to pay for it!)

Its a new year and today I had an appt with my allergist. First time, even with pregnancies, that I was 252 lbs..previous high was 249. Tommorrow is my consult appt with Dr. Lord. I am excited and nervous. I am really leaning toward Lap Band b/c less recovery time and just seems less invasive with not cutting intestines...seems like rny is a lot more popular on this site..at least for my surgery center....
