Hi!  I'm a 38 year old who has struggled with weight her entire life.  Like a lot of you, I've tried all kinds of diets (multiple times), and all kinds of pills and exercise programs as well.

I'm pretty new to the process.  I began looking into this in the beginning of May.  So far, I've met with my primary doctor.  He put me on Xenical.  With all of the issues everyone has with Alli, Xenical is worse!  I learned the hard way to eat right over the last several weeks.  I'm forcing myself to take the pills and suffer the consequences if I don't eat right..  (Note to self:  Buy new white pants...)

The next step was the nutritionist.  I need to do well over the next 6 months so my insurance company will agree that I am a good candidate.  The nut put me on a 1300 calorie diet.

I'm mostly working at finding the right proteins to eat.  I'm learning, after all of these years, that if I eat the proteins that I can tolerate, I am FULL!

I saw my gastro dr. and he is setting me up with a nuclear medicine test and a colonoscopy.

I hope to lose weight and submit all of my progress and dedication proof to my insurance in the beginning of December, and be banded in the early part of next year!
