Wow! It has been a while since I have updated. I am doing well. I have lost 114 lbs. I am in a size 14 pant size, and i can finally wear a normal Lg. shirt. I can almost fit into a size 12 short/pants. Other than a disc a flattened back in February after a slip and fall I had on the ice at work, I feel amazing. I still believe that having surgery changed my ife forever. I have even started online college classes and am doing well. I work full time as a waitress at Applebee's which is extremely busy all the time and I can make it. I would do it over again in a second because I have my life back. I have 41 lbs. left to loose before I am at my target weight. YEAH!!!!

Just wanted to write and tell everyone that everything went great. no complications. thank goodness.  i'm sore as can be. but i am okay. i did have to come home on oxygen for about 10 days, that is minor.  good luck Emily on yours on Monday.  I'm finally on the losing side now, YEAH!!

I have an even closer date now. unfortunately it is because someone else got sick. So i got moved up 4 days sooner. OMG!   I am trying to remember to breath.  please anyone/ everyone keep me in your prayers. my husband has to work Monday, but my mom and my 3 youngest boys are going also. the 143/4 yr old, 13 yr old and my 9 yr old. and as soon as my husband gets off work Monday evening he will drive about 2 hours and meet us at the hospital. He works in the oil field,  on a rig that drills for natural gas, so he can't just take the day off. he works 7 days on and has 7 off.  anyway, thank you to everyone that has been so supportive.  By the way that is me in my picture. i am a huge NHL Hockey Fan. GO COLORADO AVALANCHE. This picture was taken a little over a year ago, in Colorado. My husband and I got to meet some of the hockey players, and get there autographs. The guy in the photo is our goal tender, Peter Budji. they were all awesome. my husband was behind the camera.. anyway, i'll be in touch when i get home after 10-22-08.......

I got confirmation today that October 24th is abosutely my date, YEAH!!!

Just wanted to update. got an email from program coordinator a little while ago. they think my new date will be October 24th. she will confirm on Monday. i am so thankful. please anyone pray for me.

Just one hour before my family and i were going to leave, i got a phone call saying they had to reschedule my surgery. i still am waiting on a phone call when i 'm going to be able to have my surgery done. i can't believe this happened.

My family and I are leaving today for Riverton, wy. that is were i am having my surgery.  i can't believe it is tomorrow. i'm kind of freaking out. inside. so here we go.....
