Yesterday, on OH, I was posting a reply to someone saying"Lets get a CAT friend group together" & I told about my furry babies...But I left out 1 name & describtion,as I was hitting post I realized it but thought "Aahh I mention her next time" THEN I got home from work (midnight) , Now Ginger & Church (from Pet Cemetary!!!! AND the baby I did not name/describe) ALWAYS come running up when I pull in to go inside, it was dark because SOMEONE forgot to leave the porch light on for me (DH) ,Ginger came right in ,I closed the door, did not see Church & thought " She's dead"...WTF!!! BUT I went to bed & this morning DH showed up & told me "Well we lost another one!!" (Read previous post. Moz, Tab & Polix all put down within last 2 months) Church was in our neighbors yard, she had been mauled by dogs....I KNEW she was gone the night before...HOW???!!!???....I did not even call out for her before I went to bed...I just do not think I can handle all of this...How much does GOD think I can take!!!!! I am so glad I have this site!!!!

Moz...My dog, my friend , the big galoop...I took him on Thursday to Vet because his testes were swollen..Impacted anal gland probably...Took him THE MINUTE I saw they were swollen...Tech says "It is an impacted anal gland...no prob" I asked then to do his annual heartworm test while I was there....Dr comes in..it was NOT an impacted anal gland...He has Lymphoma..cancer..last stages...We found him tied to a dumpster 15 years ago..He had enough rope to sit but not lie down...no food , no water...Rotweiler face & German Shepard body...So sweet, so gentle...He had the whole back yard, 2 dog houses, a tree tire swing which he loved, for 3 years , until Aug he had a black Chow girlfriend (fixed) living with him...She passed in Aug....He loved EVERYONE...he protected me, the house, the yard...When my cats got out once, twice, thrice times, he would just go up to the back of the yard & lie against the fence until figured out the door was open & come get them LOL...he did kill 1 squirrel but that was an accident!!  
I brought him home Thursday & for 2 days , until Sat at 10am he had EVERYTHING he wanted to eat, his own roast , 3 lbs of hambuger,4 pork haugs (spelt ?) ,pigs ears (EEWW) BOLOGNA (he loves bologna) At 10 am I was looking in his eyes , holding his face ,telling him what good boy he was,a good friend, a great protector..as he slipped into his last sleep, he told me he was ready & my wonderful Vet  helped him pass into the Beyond...He has a huge grave (95 lbs dog) with stones all around (God put LOTS of stones in my yard) with a cherub

10/09/06 Okay...a little more about ME!!! I was born with 1 1/2 arms..but do not cry for me or say "aahhh poor thing!" because THAT is not a handicap for me.Apparently the umbilical (sp?) cord wrapped around my arm (left arm missing about 3" below elbow)causing the arm not to grow BUT I do have 5 finger buds, well 4 finger buds & 1 THUMB bud if you want to get technical. When I was about 8 a fingernail grew out of the thumb bud..THAT WAS PAIN!!! And contrary to what I THOUGHT a new arm never grew( LOL what kids believe!!)My brother told his friends 1) I ATE IT or 2) I lost it in a fire! I told some people that I & a 2armed baby were mixed up by the stork & that on MY planet was a poor child with 2 arms that MY people made fun of...Now you can all say "AAAHHH" LOL Childhood sucked, it was HELL, I was fat & had 1 arm, kids made fun of me, took first offer of marriage because "who else will want me" , caused my mother to have a nervous breakdown(not really!),divorced, married again (He will take care of me!!) drove each other cRaZy,divorced, (still together though!)FOUND MYSELF. My arm started out as no handicap, then school came, NOW it was a handicap, I LET it become a handicap,THEN I got fat because if someone wasn't going to like me ,if they were going to make fun of me it was going to be for something I CONTROLLED not because of my arm, plus CHOCOLATE & PEPSI were my friends!!! Well anywhoo, I survived,get over it!!!!

10/08/06 Well.....I went to the Walk For Obesity in Nashville on Sat.... it was GREAT!!! I met some really nice people including Nina Dyer, Dr Dyers wife...SHE IS A RIOT!!!! She put me right at ease, told me to call her if she could help me in anyway, gave me her cell #, introduced me to her husband as I have to complete my 6 mths Dr supervised Diet before my first consult. She came back to me everytime she saw me, just to make sure I was doing good!!! She should be his PR person!! Hahaha It is important to me to have a Christian Dr. , someone who I KNOW will be praying for me (& for himself, ie his HANDS Haha) & lifting me up...and they are both Christians. With the fact there is a Tonya Young working there, the presentation they give is GREAT, Dr Dyer & his wife are Christians AND his wife is SO like me (I can tell she has never met a stranger & neither have I !LOL) I feel God is streering me toward this clinic, this Dr, this journey...
BACK TO THE WALK: I was going to walk the 1 mile(they had 1 & 2 miles) BUUUUTTT you got to a point & there was a person telling you if you were doing the 1 mile turn around & go back the way you came or for the 2 mile "keep on trucking" ...well I looked around ..and NOONE WAS TURNING AROUND...weeellll I was NOT going to be the only one...Sooooo I walked 2 miles...uphill...both ways!!Well it felt like both ways ! LOL and....I WAS OKAY, I wanted to fall out about 3/4 of the way but I thought "How will I get my car??" So I met several great people, got lots of GOODIES including a T-Shirt signed by Joe Diffie & a bottle wine from Joe Diffies winery..both signed by him...I can now try some of the suppliments and got a 3 mth membership to Baptists Wellness Center!!!

10/02/06 I have lost 14 LBS so far...I am not drinking Pepsi or Mountain Dew at home, I DO have 1/4 of a bottle everyday at work for lunch!!! And at home I drink Spenda sweetened Tea (Liptons Cold Brew!!)I think that is what has made a big difference...I have been a PEPSI/MOUNTAIN DEW addict for YEARS!!!!

10-01-06 Well I have some GOOD news...my company is now offering a new Medical insurance level..100%, before it was either 80/20 with max out of pocket of 1000 or 90/10 with max out of pocket of 1000..now I will have 100% paid for surgery & Dr with 0 MAX OUT OF POCKET!!!! Premium is higher , but I will save over the long run, especially if there are any complications/strictures etc...

The things I want to be able to do, and WILL do:
1) CROSS MY LEGS AGAIN!-**** DONE!!****
2) Hike in the woods, without falling out.
3) Stop having to use my C-pap machine.***DONE****!!
4) Buy sexy "stuff" and feel good about wearing them!
5) Be able to share my mothers clothes(she is a 6-8) or at least her big shirts! love ya Mom ****DONE****
6) Be able to ride amusement park rides without being FREAKED that I won't be able fit.
7) Play football with Little James.
8) Tie my shoes..while they are on my feet..without passing out! LOL***DONE***
9) Tuck my shirts in..again****DONE****
10) Ride the burros down the Grand Canyon(they have a weight limit)

09/26/06 I found out today, clarified, that my 6 mths of Dr supervised will be up in FEB, I was hoping for Jan. LOL I know, I know, patience, patience!! I am going to the Center For The Treatment Of Obesities lunch/support meeting on Thursday ..I am excited to meet others on their journey!Cheryl from Dr dyers office is AWESOME!!! I talked to her today & she laughed & cut up with me...she made me feel it was okay to call with questions..I felt GUILTY....Also..and this tells me I'm going to the right Dr..one of the financial counselors name is TONYA YOUNG!!! Just like me!!!LOL

09/24/06 I am really excited about this journey..a WONDERFUL Lady, ApplePie, has spruced up my profile, and she has captured my "heart", just to LOOK at my site now lifts me up..A HUGE Thank You to Apple Pie(in the sky)an Angel!!!

Well I began my 6mths of Dr supervised diet/exercise last month and on 09/19/06 my Dr states I had lost 5 lbs!! A long way to go still...But a journey of a thousand mile begins with 1 step!!
