Hmmm... My story?.... Until the birth of my first daughter I was only slightly overweight, after her birth, a serious change in my lifestyle and activity level, and of course eating habits, my weight nearly DOUBLED...  I am now on the path to regaining my life, and a body I can live that life to the fullest in...   I want to regain the ability to HIKE (which is currently hard, but I still do it some) and ride ROLLER COASTERS (I actually only lost a few pounds, but I did ride The Raven roller coaster twice this summer) and look and feel GREAT... but most of all, I don't want to be afraid to cut my foot because if I do I may lose a leg due to complications from diabetes...  I don't want to take medications for high blood pressure that zap what little bit of energy I do have.  So my goal is to get to a reasonable, healthier weight, to eat things that feed my body, and not harm my body.  I feel like I have finally took the ultimate step toward changing my life, and on July 21st 2009 I had gastric bypass. I have unconditional love and support from my husband and my family.  What I hope to find here is encouragement, knowledge, and a little extra help from people who have been where I am now, and who truly understand.... And one day, I hope to be that person to someone else...
