I guess that I am one of those that has been big all of my life, I went from a 6t to a 16 and have not looked back. I have always been the one that gets " you have such a pretty face" O.K. how many of us have heard that. I started researching weight loss surgery in 2002 after a friend had the same surgery. I went to Dr. Austin and was turned down but I guess that it was not my time. God had another plan for me, in 2003 I had the most wonderful little girl that has ever walked. After she was about 1 I heard about Dr Weaver and went to one of her classes, I drug my feet for a long time and then after a friend that I had given all of Dr Weavers info to was scheduled to surgery I kicked it in high gear. My BMI is over 54 and I am only 5'4" and I can not have fun with my child I am toooooo tired all the time for anything. I am ready to be FREE of this prison that I live in, that I have built for myself. My paperwork has been sent in and I need anyone that reads this to send up a prayer for me. Will update later.

UPDATE.
I got my approval on 4-27-07, but I didnt know untill 4-30-07. I was so excited that I did not know what to do. I started freaking out about when I will get to see Dr. Weaver, then I called them and they said that it may be August before I see her, that was 5-8-07 then on 5-9-07 at around 4:00pm I was working a double and he phone rang it was Leslie from Dr. Weavers office telling me that they needed to set up an appointment. I have an appointment with Dr. Weaver on 7-11-07. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please say a little prayer for me. Misty
