I haven't been on in a while I have been really busy with appointments and taking advantage of the nice weather and walking a whole lot trying to lose as much as I can before surgery. Well, as most of you know I have come across a lot of obstacles through this whole process but since I switched hospitals they have been just AWESOME!!!!! I had a few things to wait for but today I got a whole bunch of good news!!!!!!!! TODAY IS PROBABLY THE HAPPIEST I HAVE BEEN IN IN A LOOOOOOONG TIME.
I GOT MY SURGERY DATE 4/20......TWO WEEKS and the approval from the insurance company came through. You know how they schedule you for your date and submit it for final approval. I got one phone call this morning saying my date is scheduled for April 20th and pre op testing is on the 15th and they are submitting it to my insurance company and just have to wait on the approval. Two hours later I got a call and they said they got the faxed approval and the go a head. SO ITS OFFICIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! When I got the news I wanted to jump through the phone and hug Maryellen head NP LOL.


Anyone who lives in NJ or PA I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hahnemann Hospital. The whole staff is friendly, caring, and all around excellent. It is a great facility and they have a REALLY GOOD PROGRAM. They have been a pleasure to go through this whole process with!!!!!!!!!!!!!
