Hi AMOS Family, I have finally gotten through my plateau of 4 wks. I thought it would never end. I am now down to 181lbs. thats a total of 585 lbs since my LAP RNY (Distal) on 04/01/02. I am so happy that I can finally stand up and walk for over 20 mins, without having to sit because of back and joint pain or being out of breath.Thank you first God!!!! and my surgeon Dr Bauman of Concord for having such a careing attitude for his patients..You are the best! Too all waiting for approval Good Luck, for those that have been denied keep trying persistance will payoff in the end.And for all in surgery this week may God bless and be with you.. Has anyone heard from Debbie O and Tina B?? ...Hugz to all Maria

Dear Maria.........You can get the surgar free flavorings at www.vitalady.com I just got in my supply today. I got coconut, red hot cinnamon, bavarian chocolate, chocolate macadamia nut, and irish creme. I was going to buy cherry and orange but decided to try out crystal lite with less water and see how that goes. Enjoy your snowcone machine and God Bless!

Maria - I hear you! I am so sick of chocolate AND vanilla "shakes" that I don't think I'll ever be able to drink one after I get past this stage (I am 12 days post op & down 24 pounds!) Everytime I make supper for my daughter, I feel like I'm gonna go out of my mind LOL! Only 5 more days and my doc says I can go to "soft proteins"...YUM! GOOD LUCK WITH LOSING!!!! Lisa

Hi Maria, I am so glad that your surgery went well. I was worried until I heard your voice on the phone. I have come to really enjoy being buddies with you and after I have my surgery and we both heal a little, we are going to have to meet up and go work out together. I am wishing and praying for you to have a speedy recovery.

Hi All, I made it to the losing side!!!!!!! I am now 4 days post op, I am still tired and this hunger is h!@#$.lol I want to thank every one for the prayers and all the info that was given to me pre-op from all you wonderful people. i like to thank my Angel Diane, whom I met face to face at the hosptal, for all the info you gave me. And the Flowers are so beautiful.Tell Renee hello. Well I will post more soon AMOS family as I progress. Hugs ML
