Set backs

So I had some set backs. I found out after I schedualed my appt that I had to pay a $400 non refundable fee. Money has been super tight as I am a single mom. So of course the thought of what if my insurance denies me then what? I am out of 400 bucks!!!! So I of course got discouraged and didn't bother with my first inital counsult. I was told I could make a payment plan for the money and then start all my appts but I felt blah. Well I am now back on the ball. Money is still pretty tight, but my ex is now paying me some money so its a bit of a help. I can use my work money and pay for my surgery. I am very excited. I believe I will be calling tomorrow to make an appt again. I am back and forth with what surgery I want. Originally I was going for the LB now wondering if RNY would be smarter. I don't want to be discouraged, but I also don't want to drop dramatic amount of weight all at once.

I have decided to keep my surgery to only my mom knowing. At the moment that is my plan. What a support system huh? LOL I just don't want to appeat lazy to people. I think when the time comes closer I will tell some of my other family members. But as of now just mom knows.
