Walking Commitment

I've made the commitment to do two "walks" in the near future. Sept 25, I'm "Walking for Jamison" to benefit a scholarship at the OCCC School of Nursing. Jamison was the 2 year old son of a very dear friend of my daughter in law's from nursing school. He was misdiagnosed with Swine Flu by a doctor last summer, when he really had a very ,very aggresive form of leukemia and died within weeks of being diagnosed. A fund was set up in his name and a walk established to fund a scholarship for the school of nursing.Then on Oct 9, I'm going to Walk for the Cure to benefit the Susan G Komen Foundation with a group from work. Who would have ever guessed I could do two walks in a few weeks and be looking forward to it.
Life is so good. 120# gone and no more asthma, no more constantly aching knees and ankles, and I can't wait to do these walks just because I CAN!!!!!!!!
