Mary, Best of wishes to you...Break those chores down so that you can get it all done and not worry about leaving anything behind. As Mom's we always take care of everyone excpet for ourselves it seems. Find some time to just enjoy yourself and do some of the things that you might not be able to do for a couple of weeks after surgery. God speed to an easy surgery and a quick recovery. KimmieTN

Dear Mary.........Hang in there. You are so close to your operation, lucky girl! I'm going through my preops this week and what a thrill. HA! Had the upper GI yesterday and tommorrow the stress echo. I've been reading preop advice on this site and they told me to take vitamins with lots of vitamin C, walk, eat lots of protein cause it helps the muscles heal faster, drink lots of water, and do these legs exercises to help avoid blood clots. You stand and go up and down on your tip toes about 20 times. All these things are to help make the operation easier on our bodies. I hope you enjoyed these tips and best wishes! God Bless! :)
