"I met Dr. Jones in August 2009 at a weekly seminar. She is a beautiful woman inside and out. She talked to all of us about weight being a disease and not a malfunction we all have. She not only talked to us like we were human beings but like she could be our friend. She explained the surgery in such detail that I understood it completely. My first impression of her was that she is passionate about making people's lives better, she's very educated and intelligent, she's truly concerned and passionate, and she's a down to earth person. Her staff is phenomenal, they are eager to answer questions and get things going for you ASAP. They are all wonderful people. Dr. Jones emphasizes aftercare over and over again and her office along with the bariatric dept. at the hospital offer several programs and groups a lot of which are free. Dr. Jones does not sugar coat risk at all. She makes sure we are all 100% aware of the risk of surgery and if we continue living the way we are. She uses a lot of stories, statistics, and facts to explain the risks associated with surgery. If I was to give Dr. Jones a rating out 1-10 she would be a 10 in my book for sure. I trust her with my life. The only negative thing I would have to say about the pre-surgery experience is all the waiting. The nutritional classes and seminar was a lot of waiting and not necessarily on the doctor or staff but for other patients."
