"I really like my stay and the nurses there. However I was located in a room the was to audible to the Life Flight landing pad and made sleep a little difficult at times. The parking is not the best but I belieev that will be changing soon witht the opening p of another area."
"My first visit with him is 7/15/03. I met today with the dietition and the intern Dr. Lapre. They were great and very encouraging. There was no beating around the bush. Very professional. They let you know the bad as well as the good. Nothing sugar coated. Vanderbilt seems to have a good screening program. The dietition told me, "that is why their death rate is so so low." The process is long and drawn out but hey, whatever it takes. They gave me an abundant amount of paper work to read. Good info. 7-16-03~I met with Dr. Richards yesterday. That man has a very sweet spirit about him. He was also friendly but was to the point. He was very informative about the surgical process and the risk involved. He put up with my nerves and all my questions were answered in detail. I felt he was very detailed and descriptive about it all. I am very satisfied with him but hate the wait. I am sure I am not alone with that one. ;)"
