"Dr. J Dimick at the U of M medical center was and is a great surgeon. He has a great demeanor which made me feel very comfortable with him. I will say that I thought he kept me in the hospital for far too long :) but ok I know he wanted me to be healthy before sending me home. My other concern was that they did not monitor my blood pressure well enough. I was feeling very light headed in the hospital but I was still allowed to go home with instructions to continue taking my blood pressure pills. My pressure dropped extremely low at home and I had to be taken (by my daughter) to the hospital where I was told by my PCP that I should stop all of my pills. This is something that Dr. Dimick should have anticipated, expected, and handled more effectively. Other than that, my experience with the U of M Adult Bariatric clinic was very enjoyable and I recommend them to anyone who lives in the Ann Arbor area and who is considering this wonderful surgery. "
