Learning About Lap-Band

I found out today that my health insurance will pay for Weight Loss Surgery. New policy will start Sept. 1. I have an appointment with the Bariactric Counselor in Huntsville on Sept. 25th. So we will see from there. I am currently attending Weight Watchers!! Is there a prize for how many times you join? I get discouraged trying to loose weight because I am such a slow looser and I just give up. I hope if I qualify for the lap band it will be a tool to help me in my weight loss. I do not want gastric bypass because I have a heard the side effects can be more serious than lap-band.
