I GOT A DATE!!!! RYAN EMAILED ME AND TOLD ME THIS: "...I'm trying to come up with a surgery date. The next available that I have for Dr. Provost is 06/23, 06/24, 06/25, or 06/26. Let me know if any of these work for you. ...."  

So I naturally called him and told him the first date available will be fine!!! He told me just incase I can't get that date then will the 24th be ok too? I said of course! =) So he called the OR and set up a date and reserved the OR for me on June 24th, 2008!!!!  I will be having surgery on June 24th, 2008 at 7:15am at Zale Lipshy University Hospital here in Dallas, Texas! I'm so happy! =)

So I'm sitting here minding my own business when I check my little email thing the hospital gave me..and what do you know! I got any email from Ryan one of the appointment setters...he emailed me and told me that the nurse at the hospital sent my paperwork to the head nurse to look at and that I should hear something back within 2 days. So again I waited.........and waited.......and WAITED!

I emailed him back and told him to call me when he hears something back from the nurse. He's very sweet...  So I'm going to wait I guess..only cause he asked me too...*sighs*...<3

I hate waiting...I know I'm posting this way after but I'm updating my blog...so bare with me if You get confused on the dates. This post is dated in June but I'm going back to April and May.  

  So, anyways..I hate waiting...it's been only a few days but I hate not knowing what's going on and who has my paperwork and so forth...I emailed Dr. King who was my new doctor since Dr. Guth changed her hours. She's very nice and understand. She's very overweight herself and yet she works in a bariatric office?!? Strange. Anyways..so I emailed her and she said she jsut sent off my paperwork to Camille. Ok..they work in the same office why did you wait 3 days after my last appointment to walk over two doors and give them to her?!? ugh...so I emailed Camille and she said she's in the process of checking all my labs and notes and everything to give her 2-3 days to get it done with. SO...I naturally waited....then 1 week goes by..she calls me out of the blue and tells me she's waiting on my psych. evaluation to come back!!! EXCUSE ME!?!?! I did that back in Nov. of 2007! They got it back at the beginning of Dec. of 2007! Then she was like..OH! I found it! Are you serious?? Are you that unorganized that you lose paperwork that's important..like mental health paperwork!?! So luckily she found it. She told me she'll sign off and send them to the nurse at the hospital. I said how long will that take she said about 2-3 days. I said fine.  2-3 days past...I hear nothing. And I'm still waiting at this point...=( I hate waiting...

Ok I know this is very late but I've been busy lately..ok I admit it I just plain forgot. But the good thing is I'm here now..right?!=)
Well let see my last visit was vist number 3 on 1/23 and I met my new doctor who will be taking over things. I found out my current doctor doesn't see patients on mondays and that's when my visits are. No big deal I'm flexible.  So here are the facts: BP was 125/81 and my weight was 323lbs. So I lost some weight! woohoo!=)  I have just three more visits than I'm done and they send everything off to the insurance company.  I re-did my sleep study and I'm trying to get my results back from that. This time I think I did sleep..but I took ambien CR first.  I did get my psychological evaluation back and it was all clear!=)  So I'm good to go with that.  I have my next appt. on 2/11 which I think is next week. This sat. we are having a birthday party for my husband so I'm excited about that...maybe I ca get out of the house for once.=)  Well..until next time..I guess...=)

Ok well..had a drs. visit yesterday with Dr. Guth it was a short visit...I found out that I might have my surgery if everything goes according to plan around summer time of 2008. That would be super!=) I also found out I lost 1 pound which is better than nothing. AND...my blood pressure was actually normal! 121/79 down from 144/96 a month ago! So this visit was awesome! She told me she wants me to cut out at least 1-2 things that isn't good for me..I haven't decided yet which thing...it's hard because of the holiday season everything you eat and drink isn't good for you to begin with...so, I'm going to have to sit and think about this one...it's either going to be ice cream or soda or fast food...I don't eat much ice cream for it to have such a big impact on my weight to begin with and for the past month I haven't eaten out much either...so it looks like I'm going to have to suck up the soda...so, I guess I'll give them to my brother instead since I bought a brand new 12 pk of coke the other day..whoops.=( But, I'm ok with giving that up as long as I have water and juice and tea I'm ok. I'm trying to limit my intake to 1500 cal. a day so far today I've only inputted 690cal. and it's already 4pm I think I'm doing good so far. Well, WLM visit number 2 is over 4 more to go before they send everything to the insurance company. I also have to make a visit with the psychologist that's mandatory. I got my results back from the sleep study thing and that visit was horrible supossedly I don't have sleep apnea so good for me..one less thing to worry about. Well, until next time!=)
