Let me tell you about my adventure....So i started having issues last week, couldn't swallow solids but I was okay with that. Then I couldn't swallow my own spit, what was that all about!! My hubby ended up taking me to the ER which is never pleasant, especially since we don't have insurance.
So I show up and they stick an IV bag in me, and then another one. I was hoping that they would just un fill my lapband and send me home but they kept me for observation overnight. The next morning my lapband was unfilled and all the pain was gone. I had 9cc removed and just when I was thought they would put at least half of it in, nothing!!
I am feeling much better but I don't like not havung restriction. I am being very careful with what I eat, I even did 1 while week of liquids but i need my fill. I am so afraid of getting the weight back, it isn't even funny.
I usually get my fills via floroscope but that will cost me $650 cash up front!! I should be going into the office sometime next week and I pray that my port will be found with the first prick!! I need my fills!!!
Anyone out there have the same experience?
