This is my story and I will love to share it with all of you. I started to gain weight since I was 12yrs old. On middle school kids will call me ugly names. I was not that obese like they make me feel. I was just plain bigger than the rest of the girls and of course stand out since I was tall. When I started high school I started doing diets...different kind of diets. Some will work then I will regain the weight double. My senior year I weight 220lbs and I thought that I look good compare to what I looked before surgery. After I turn 21 I started to gain and gain weight.. I will do dieting but different kind of diets and like I've said I will regain the weigth again but double. Since I live in the border I will always run to Juarez to all this doctors for pills and shots to loose weight. Friends will tell me to try all this pills and I will try anything to loose weight. I also try weight watchers, Atkins, and low calorie diets and nothing will work. I got my tyroid check and it was normal,. So when I got engaged I said this is my only opporunity in life to look good. I went to another docotr and prescribed me Xenecal and phentermine. I did loose 25 punds in 2 months and on my wedding date I weight 240lbs...a month later I started to get sick and I had gallstones which that medication caused it. After that I had stomach problems and not able to digest food...and guess what.. yes you are right.. I gained 35pounds.. I could not walk and breathe. Never in my life weight that much and never used a size 22. Finally a co-worker saw me desperation in loosing weight and talk to me about WLS... I had heard about it but I never asked since I thought insurance will never cover... I was just plain not informed. With her helped and encouragement I finally made an appointment and gather all my other doctors information how they always kept telling me to loose weight. On January 2, 2007 I got a call from the doctor to let me know I got approved. I was so happy and excited that I wanted to tell the whole world. Finally I had my sugery on February 14, 2007 and until then it has being the best decision I have ever made in my life. Now I want another wedding dress..
Today is Wednesday, June 27, 2007 and I Have lost 67 pounds. I weight less than what I use to weight in high school and I'm a size 16.. WOW! WOW!!
